in 2021 we celebrated “Hays Larks 75 Years of baseball at Larks Park”. Throughout the years Larks Park has served the community of Hays by being one of the best places to watch baseball, hang out with friends and make memories.  Having hosted thousands of fans from all over the world since 1940, ‘Larks Park’ with its dedicated staff & community support, has proudly stood the test of time.

Larks Camp not only provides the tools to increase your baseball skills, it also allows players to build fundamental life skills and relationships that last a lifetime.

HITTING | THROWING | FIELDING | RUNNING

All Skills

Instruction will cover: hitting, throwing, fielding and base running. A controlled game will be played each day. The last day of camp will feature contests in the various areas of the game

8:30-10 Boys entering grades 2-3
Cost $45 ($35 for 2nd family member)
10:45-1 Boys entering grades 4-8
Cost $60 ($50 for 2nd family member)

HITTING | BUNTING | MECHANICS

Hitting

Instruction will cover hitting and bunting mechanics. Practice time will include station work.

9:00-10:15 Boys entering grades 2-4
Cost $35 ($30 for 2nd family member)
10:30-11:45 Boys entering grades 5-8
Cost $35 ($30 for 2nd family member)

CARE | WARM UP | MECHANICS | PICKOFFS

Pitching & Catching

Pitching instruction will include: care and warming up of the arm, pitching mechanics, fielding and pickoff moves. Catchers will receive instruction on receiving, throwing and blocking. Various drills will be used for practice.
